Corporate Wellness Nutrition Education Workshop
April 2015
Tata Group
Tata Group offers an effective employee Corporate Wellness program with medical checkups and consultations with a company doctor. I worked with Dr. Saraf and provided nutrition education that covered numerous topics such as the basics of a well-balanced nutritious diet and the importance of food in maintaining good health.
Dietary recommendations were based on results of employee health assessments. Many of the workers at one of the plants worked a night shift and needed specific nutrition guidance that was suitable to their lifestyle.
My nutrition education program included a PowerPoint presentation, posters, and food models.
Thanks to Mr. Arvind Goel for giving me this opportunity to add value to their existing Corporate Wellness program. Thanks to Dr. Saraf for his support and time invested in planning and coordinating this project. I also enjoyed the musical concert presented by his medical professional colleagues.
